What’s Happening at the Shatford!

Rock Skool is returning to the Shatford for 2019! Join facilitator Will Schlakl in this two-week school of rock music for kids age 7-18 from July 15-16th! Don’t miss out – sign up today at www.shatfordcentre.com/courses. 

OSA office hours have changed – now open Monday through Friday from 9am-Noon!

The Scott Woods’ Band is returning to the Shatford Thursday May 30th – Get your tickets at the OSA office (cash only), or order by phone at 1-855-726-8896. Tickets are limited!

Angie McIntosh will be doing her “Pillars of Painting” oil and acrylic workshop May 10-12th, for all levels of artists – come as a beginner and leave as a painter! Sign up at https://www.shatfordcentre.com/courses

Sax Among Friends

The Summerland Community Arts Council presents “Sax Among Friends” Friday, April 12th at the Summerland Arts Centre. Show starts at 7pm, tickets are $10 at the door – don’t miss it! See poster for details!

What’s Happening at the Shatford!

This Saturday March 30th check out the Okanagan Vintage Fair here at the Shatford starting at 10 am till 3 – collectibles, clothing, decor, art, crafts and much more.  Entry fee only $2

At the same time visit the Shatford’s Basement Sale – just down the stairs to the right of the front entry.  Selling lots of vintage items, crystal wares, collectibles, pictures, frames, artist supplies and some furniture items. Our spring fundraiser.

Check out Anomaly House too and chat with Shae about the latest in art supplies – she has a fantastic selection – two doors to the left of the stairs on the first floor.

Don’t forget! March 21st is the special member’s meeting, at 6pm in the Shatford Centre auditorium. All members are invited, only members in good standing are eligible to vote. OSO TICKETS

If you are planning to purchase Okanagan Symphony tickets for the “Festive Fire” concert in April at the Shatford please be advised that our ticket sales for the OSO will cease Friday March 29th.  After that date you will have to call 1-888-974-9170 or purchase them at the door.

March is membership month – if you have a membership expiring in March please pop in to renew or give us a call at the office 250-770-7668 or if you want to become a member $20 individual or $40 for family.

Deadline for artist submissions for the “Spark Joy” exhibition is Monday March 4th.  Drop off your artwork between 9 am and 1 pm – $15 artist submission fee to go towards the opening reception March 13th.

The Snakebite Film Festival last weekend was well attended and well received.   Congrats to Carl Meadows for organising such a fabulous event and for partnering with us.  More info posted below.
