The 2019 Snakebite Film Festival – January 31st to February 3rd

The Snakebite Film Festival started in Penticton in 2017.  The vision of the Festival is “Awakening Culture, United Communities”.

The dream was to have a film festival that showcases many of the stories that exist in Penticton and seeks to give voice to those seeking connection and community by highlighting stories of diversity.  The Festival is a place to showcase those human stories and connect us to the fabric of a culturally rich community.

Thursday January 31st 7:00 pm – Drunktowns Finest (Sundance Film Festival Winner)

Friday February 1st 7:00 pm – Alaska is a Drag

Saturday February 2nd 4:00 pm – Hello Destroyer

Saturday February 2nd 7:00 pm – When the Ocean Met the Sky

Sunday February 3rd 4:00 pm – Edge of the Knife  (TIFF and VIFF Winner) ~ Haida language with subtitles
