DOCBC is partnering with Telus @Storyhive to deliver an experiential hands-on documentary filmmaking workshop through the directing, producing and editing lenses in Penticton in August.
Participants will learn about the craft of documentary filmmaking and practice using equipment such as cameras, microphone and lenses.
This full-day workshop will be led by two well-established filmmakers, Kevin Eastwood and Arun Fryer, who have extensive experience instructing diverse audiences and a solid body of work under their belts.
The workshop is from 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday, August 19th at the Shatford Centre, Okanagan School of the Arts, 760 Main Street.
New dates have been set for the fine local products cheese making class taught by Louise Pearson.
The classes will be held September 15th and October 27th at the Shatford Centre.
Louise works at Pearson Cheese Company & Poplar Grove Cheese. Her favourite thing to do is share her passion of cheese making.
Come and learn the fantastic art of making your own cheeses!
Participants will make four cheeses during the session starting with fresh mozzarella.
Cost is $125. Those interested should sign up early, as class size is limited.
Lunch is included.
